Painters Hall of Shame

A random collection of, uh, less than optimal paint jobs encountered over the years…

Couldn't even be bothered to unplug it before painting the outlet.
What mousetrap? I don't see a mousetrap.
Everything must blend in - including the light fixtures.
Can't really blame the painter in this case for not touching and painting around it instead.
Didn't even bother to remove the closet rod and paint it properly.
Tree in the way? Just spray over it.
Nobody ever bothers to paint behind the range. Great place to find out previous colors of your kitchen.
Painted hose bibs blend in nicely with the wall.
It's under the sink. Nobody's gonna look here anyway, so who cares?

The owner-to-be of this new construction home was displeased with the quality of the paint job in this home.
This outlet has been painted so many times, you can't even plug anything in anymore.
No time to pick stuff up. Just paint over it.
Apparently light bulbs have to match the house. Therefore they must be painted.
This is an extreme example what happens when you run the AC while painting the inside of a home. No air getting through this filter ever again.

This electrical panel cover was sealed to the wall with paint. The paint job was sloppy enough for paint to run into the panel.
Textured right over the phone jack. Nobody is gonna use it anymore anyway, right?
Painted right over the bathroom ceiling fan, including the dirt inside it.
This is what happens to an air filter when you run the AC while painting inside a home.
It's quicker to paint over this screw on a roof than to stop and pick it up. Ain't nobody got time for that!
What's a little paint on a light bulb? Nobody's gonna look in here anyway.
This gas vent cap is painted shut and no longer qualifies as a vent. It is now a safety hazard.
