It’s fascinating to see what homeowners, handypersons, contractors, and god knows who else do to homes. 

Here’s a selection of things that make this job so interesting. 

In the laundry room of this house was a built-in dog washing station. That was a first!
This piece of cardboard was screwed into the laundry room wall behind the dryer. It covered a rather creative dryer outlet installation.
No, this is not the eye of Sauron. This is what a fancy heated toilet seat looks like with an infrared camera.
The owners of this new construction home hired me for a warranty inspection. Their teenager left this note for me on their closet door.
